Supply Planning and capacity Manager

- - Job Summary
This position is responsible to drive capacity development in LRP & streamline the supply planning operation for both commercial and Giving to meet company growth and profitability. Provide high level data analysis, reports to ensure allocation plan of each season buy is consistent with AO sourcing strategy and LRP.Overview the packing planning and Giving planning activities, takes lead on factory admin and ramp up/down, new factory onboard.
- Essential Responsibilities
? Work closely with HQ Demand Planning team to understand demand forecasts and to secure production capacity based on short and long-term goals for both commercial and Giving.
? Drive capacity development with new or and existing supplier to meet demand requirement.
? Deploy a season allocation plan prior to placing official buys for commercial.
? Hold monthly meeting with PM team to review the allocation and pull forward, loading rate to make sure the plan is on track or adjust plan if necessary for commercial order.
? Evaluate the Giving yearly allocation plan before submitted to Senior management for approval.
? Maintains appropriate reports and written summaries to management as needed, including Monthly capacity and loading report, Seasonal allocation plan, YOY & SOS buy analysis etc.
2.Capacity Management 25%
? Lead monthly demand forecast and production capacity reviews for with all FTW vendor/factories. Ensure all vendor understand and commit to executing all forecasts and capacity plans.
? Visit all suppliers/factories to validate production capacity and risks, provide resolution and recommendation.
? Set up KPI for vendor to manage capacity and track capacity expansion projects with suppliers to ensure adherence to timelines.
? Production output verification and management by comparing and overviewing capacity and actual loading.
? Support PM team on BCD molds opening.
? Lead regular meeting with vendor and TOMS HQ to review the capacity.
3.Team management, overview Giving operation and packing planning operation.25%
? Manages subordinator in an effective way, coach team and provide on-job training as needed.
? Monitor department budget and report regularly on department performance.
? Oversee the Giving operation from AO side and provide the construction suggestion to support team member.
? Oversee the packaging planning operation and tackle the critical issues.
4.Factory ramp up/down and administration 10%
? Responsible for new factory set up in systems through communicating with HQ counterparties and GTN client manager.
? Map up rump up plan to a new factory based on senior management requirement.
? Work across functions for a rump down plan to a factory.
? Take a lead role to for vendor management, including but not limited to profile file update, brand authorization letter renews, China Custom registration.
5.Process and Others.10%
? Build and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship between AO planning team and other areas of TOMS and TOMS’s external partners and customers.
? Capable to demonstrate, deliver TOMS mission, vision and expectation.
? Seek the opportunity to optimize the process in supply planning, giving planning as well as packaging planning with internal and external counterparts.
? New projects and any adhoc assignments.

Knowledge of Global Supply Chain and planning. Advanced (5+ yrs)
Rich shoe or related product knowledge. Advanced (5+ yrs)
Good at mathematic, logic, Strong excel/Functions, PPT skills Intermediate (3-5 yrs)
Knowledge with SAP, GTN operation is a plus. Entry Level (0-3 yrs)
Attention to details, multitasking skills, work under stress Advanced (5+ yrs)
Adaptive to fast and continuously changing environment Intermediate (3-5 yrs)
Excellent verbal and written English skills Advanced (5+ yrs)
Strong business, planning and organizing skills; including the ability to provide ideas to management, communicate value, gain approval and implement effectively Advanced (5+ yrs)
-Education/Experience Required or Preferred
5+ years working experience in the areas of footwear factory production planning or trading company. Required
BS/BA in Supply Chain, International trade or Business relevant. Required
Above 3 years’ manager experience Preferred
Experience in developing and managing the project. Required
